So 2000 words written today. I was so hoping my writer's block would disappear and it seems it has died a slow painful death. Good. The more painful the better. So 15,000+ words into it. Page 50. Only 250 to go. Well. I want to go to 400 but I think that's a bit grandiose...lol. So 250 to 300 is where it will sit. Chances are, it will be longer once it goes to print. The pages of a book are considerably smaller than the Open Office page...lol.
I am completely worn out though. That's what happens. If this was my job...my ONLY job I would nap after the writing session. Writing makes me hungry and tired...lol. Who needs drugs? Just write! :)
I am shopping around for places to get books reviewed. I need to bite the bullet and get some of my works reviewed. If for nothing else but to see what I need to work on as a writer. Don't get me wrong. I don't usually put too much stock in reviews...I have my own drum I dance to. And it's made out of bone and skin. The leathered skin gives it it's unique sound. Nothing can compare really.
Anyhow. That's what's going on in my neck of the woods...lol. I will be posting something I did for the writer's group that I own, so be on the look out for that.
And before I leave you for the comfort of the acid pool...I need to vent. It's a bit off topic from writing, but I am sure you will all forgive me....
A few years ago, te BBC cancelled the most amazing sci-fi show EVER. Personally, I thought it was better than Dr. Who. Please no death threats...I have more shadowlings I can send out than what you want on your ass. This is an opinion..look up the definition if you aren't sure what that is. ;)
Anyhow...back to Torchwood. Yes. That was the name of it. I was so hooked the week actually went by slow. This was the ONLY show I actually looked forward to. That I COULDN'T miss. I would request off work to be able to see it (not really. We had TiVO. ;) But you get my point). Anyhow. It's coming back! YAAAY! Wait...It's coming back on Starz. WTF?? I don't get Starz and I don't see spending $25 just to watch Torchwood. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the show enough to do it, but not when I can't really afford the $25. I have people I owe money too.
Anyway. That's my rant...
